Valentine's Day - IDIOMS & Top Ten British romantic movies

Love love love...

Love is all around - as the British pop band Wet Wet Wet used to sing (yes yes, it's the song from the film that probably everybody knows:'Four weddings and a fineral') :) Love is in the air especially before and on the 14th of February. Some of us love Valentine's day, some hate it saying that this day has nothing to do with love, that it's just an artificial feast invented to earn money.

Opponents claim that people ought to show each other love every day, not only on one day a year! It's hard to disagree with this opinion... But maybe it's not such a bad idea to devote a whole day or at least an evening (let's say 14 th of February) for the one we love? Celebrate our love in a special way...?
What about those who love in secret? Isn't it a perfect day to say the subject of admiration that we love him/her? Send a letter, email or a valentine card? And what about singles who think Valentine's day is only for couples? Definitely, they must watch this American advert (I love occasional advertising!) to find out that they are wrong:

On the occassion of Valentine's Day, I've prepared for you a few idiomatic expressions about love as well as a list of top ten British love themed films. Learn and have fun!
